Henry Tudor is said to have slipped out of Tenby by sea during the Wars of the Roses — a plaque on the harbour recalls it. Today the same slipways launch RNLI boats, Caldey ferries and mackerel trips. At high tide it is a postcard; at low tide the basin dries.
